Joanna Moorhouse
This girl is interested in everything from the worlds of fashion and design to growing her own zucchinis in the countryside.
Born in Helsinki (1968) and raised by an English father and a Finnish mother, Joanna has lived an all-international life. She spent several years in England and in France with her family before studying photography in Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome, where she graduated in 1994.
After her studies she assisted various international photographers in Superstudio 13 Intermoda, Milan. Since 1996 she has worked as a photographer based in Helsinki.
With her international background and love of travelling, Joanna mingles with ease in several languages and all situations. Joanna loves photography and finds beauty where ever she points her camera at. There is no obstacle big enough for Joanna when it comes to sceneries. She simply can´t resist the challenge if the picture requires her to work under water or climb on a mountaintop. Carpe diem!
